Virtual Tours & Slideshows

Victoria Day in Weaselhead
Victoria Day weekend in May traditionally kicks off the visiting season in Calgary's famous Weaselhead. From this weekend until Labour Day every year, the number of people using the park is at its peak.

Weaselhead Summer Slideshow
During summer months, Weaselhead bursts with life in every corner of the park. Flowers, birds, mammals and butterflies share this precious riverine natural area with Calgarians of all ages.

Video Virtual Tour
Join us on a virtual video tour of Calgary's famous Weaselhead Natural Environment Area. This tour features several Quicktime video clips and is not recommended for anyone viewing this site via a dial up connection. Broadband users, however, should encounter no difficulties.

Autumn Virtual Tour
In the autumn of 2001, Jarett Lalonde and John Friesen of Calgary joined us on a tour of Weaselhead. This extensive tour begins on the southside of the park, loops down to the western boundary and back again.

Class Field Trip
More than 3000 kids pass through Weaselhead on guided fieldtrips every year. Join us with a group of 100 grade 6 students as they learn about nature in one of our cirriculum based education programs.
