While sleeping waterfowl bob on the autumn waters of the Glenmore Reservoir,
nocturnal predators hunt in the darkness.
By keeping the park empty at night, we allow Great Horned Owls and other
nighttime hunters to do their job keeping growing waterfowl populations in check.
