Migration Staging Point

The south escarpment overlooks the west end of the Glenmore Reservoir.

The west end of the Glenmore Reservoir is an important staging point on the western North American migration route.

On this day in November (2001) there were over 2000 waterfowl on the reservoir. On many fall days, however, you will see more than five times that number of migrating birds.
