Jack Rabbit Trail

Jack Rabbit Trail, which runs along the south side of the park, got its name from its undulating (up-and-down) course through the woods.

In terms of a cardio-vascular work out, this trail is the most physically challenging in Weaselhead.

Because this trail is on the side of the south escarpment and because rain washes excrement downhill into our drinking water, dogs are no longer allowed on Jackrabbit Trail.

For obvious safety reasons, mountain bikes are also prohibited on Jackrabbit Trail and on all graveled trails in Weaselhead.
